Kingston Cove Yacht Club is proud to be an integral part of the fabric of the Kingston Community. Our primary adopted charity is the Kingston Food Bank. The Food Bank is in downtown Kingston and serves those with limited transportation options that are not served by the larger regional charitable organizations. Every Christmas we hand-make and decorate around 40 stockings that are adopted and filled by members. In addition, we deliver several pick-up truck loads of food and cash for turkeys each year. We also join with community members in sponsoring a community meal each year.
The 4th of July is a special time for the yacht club. We kick off the day with our Pancake Breakfast served to the public. We also have two entries in the parade and advertise our “Free Hot Dogs for Kids”. The beer tent at the Port park opens right after the parade and continues until the fireworks begin.
